
I found a recipe on about.com and modified it slightly. It is super easy and delicious.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup brown rice
- 1 Tbsp curry powder
- 1 Tbsp ground cumin
- 3 ½ cups vegetable broth
- ½ cup lentils
- 1 vegetarian bouillon cube – make sure they are parve, gluten-free and yeast-free if you need that. Many aren’t. We like Rapunzel Pure Organic Vegetable Bouillon with Sea Salt & Herbs

- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 onion, diced
Preparation:
Combine all the ingredients in a crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours, stirring once in a while.
Four servings.
