Cold Oatmeal

Another option is to wait ’til morning to add the berries or chopped fruit

Quick high fiber breakfast for a summer morning. Just mix it together the night before, and it’s ready for you in the morning.

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup gluten free oats
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup almond or cashew milk, homemade in the Vitamix
  • 3/4 cup berries
  • 1-2 Tablespoons applesauce

Preparation:

  1. The night before, mix all ingredients in a cereal bowl and soak overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. In the morning, stir it up and eat it.

Serves 1.
